The initial sketch, scanned and bluetoned. I printed this out on canson dark grey paper at 11x17
First layer of colored pencils.
I melted the pencils using some turpenoid, spray fixed it, then added oil paint on top. (thats my cat's nose on the left, he's curious!)
The "final' piece, after adding more colored pencil details.
